Results of the first joint round table between Vipservice and Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Participants of the first joint round table between Vipservice and Carlson Wagonlit Travel called "Warned means Protected", which was held at Radisson Blu Belorusskaya hotel in Moscow on June 14, discussed why the vital issues of the personal security of employees during business trips and the computer network protection from the hacker attacks are the last to be addressed by companies.

"Today we will share with you the security provision practices collected by our colleagues and partners in the immensely interesting business called business travel. We offer to exchange knowledge — there is no sense in making mistakes which somebody has already made," CWT Russia CEO Alexey Kushkin said opening the meeting.

Experts from Vipservice and CWT have developed recommendations for the travel department employees which should help them not to be deceived by fraudsters. They recommend checking the presence of the passenger profile together with the agency, feel free to request the global office for the status of the employee registering the business trip, carefully control compliance with the rules of acceptance and transfer of credit card data (PCI Compliance), pay attention to the format of authorization for the withdrawal of money from the SOF card (the signature must be original, fax copy of the signature is not allowed), and together with the booking consultant, ask the business tourists the question which can be verified by the profile of the passenger or company.
