Vipservice participated in the 2017 Passenger Forum

2017 Passenger Forum took place yesterday on April 19. Participants of the forum discussed the issues of the development of transportation service in the field of long-distance and suburban passenger transportation and contemporary services for passengers.

At the plenary session of the forum "Railway. Travel across Russia," the issues of building an effective model of carrier-tour operator interaction and development of domestic rail travel were addressed.

Chairman of the transport committee of the Turpomosch association and the general director of Vipservice Holding Dmitry Gorin attended the session as experts. In his speech, he explained about the activities of the work group made up of representatives of the travel industry. "Over the past two years, much has been done for interaction between tour operators and JSC RZD. Booking pattern of railway tickets was increased to 60 days, a more convenient format was featured for group bookings," noted Dmitry Gorin. At the end of his report, Dmitry Gorin added that there were new short-term goals and tasks aimed at interaction with JSC RZD.

Concluding the plenary session, the president of JSC RZD Oleg Belozerov said that the development of rail travel is a very important field of activity, in which it is necessary to create a favorable environment for customers.
