Restarting Flights: New Data

A number of airlines announced a partial or full return of flights this month - Vipservice analyzed publications on official websites and in the accounts of air carriers, as well as information obtained by mailing.

The Indian airline Vistara announced the resumption of domestic traffic on May 25, following the order of the Minister of Civil Aviation of the country. At the moment, it uses a reduced route network that unites 24 cities. In addition to the general set of measures prescribed by the situation, Vistara will temporarily suspend the priority landing and apply the landing in the opposite direction, in which the passenger in the last row enters the plane first.

Starting June 15, Brussels Airlines launches a limited flight schedule: 240 flights per week. Today the airline offers:

• 45 destinations in 20 European countries, including Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal and Spain;

• 13 destinations in Africa;

• 1 destination in the USA (New York);

Opening of a new direction - Montreal is postponed to next year.

The June schedule of the Lufthansa Group represents more than 130 destinations around the world. The focus is on summer destinations, for example, Croatia, Italy, Portugal and Spain. The number of long-haul flights for leisure and business travel is also increasing. Thus, flights to Beijing, Cairo, Montreal, San Francisco, San Jose, Seoul and Shanghai are planned for the second half of June.

AirBaltic launches the following flights in June: From Riga to Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna, Dusseldorf; from Tallinn to Paris, Vienna, Berlin. Already (from the 20th of May) flights are carried out: from Vilnius to Riga, Tallinn, Oslo; from Riga to Tallinn, Vilnius, Oslo, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Munich, Amsterdam; from Tallinn to Riga, Amsterdam, Oslo, Copenhagen, Vilnius.

Starting in June, Czech Airlines and Smartwings will resume flights on the following routes to / from Prague:

- Split flights will be operated by Smartwings from June 10;

- Reykjavik (Keflavik) will be operated by Czech Airlines from June 17;

- Budapest Czech Airlines flights from June 18;

- Kosice Czech Airlines flights from the second half of June (the exact date should be confirmed after the decision of the Slovak authorities to open airports).

Also, a new destination in the Czech Airlines route network will be daily flights Prague - London (Heathrow), which will be carried out from June 25.

Communication continues on the renewed routes from Prague to Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Bucharest.
