On February 13, on the eve of Valentine's Day, a workshop was held at the Vipservice Media Center by representatives of the airBaltic. The special guest of the meeting was Iveta Strupkaja, the head of the representative office of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) in the Russian Federation. This evening the agents learned a lot of new things not only about airBaltic, but also about Latvia itself.

“AirBaltic is the Latvian national carrier, one of the fastest growing airlines in Europe and leader in the Baltics. This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary,” Lilia Nurizhanova, sales representative for airBaltic in Russia, began her speech with these words. The airline’s goal is a fleet consisting entirely of environmentally friendly Airbus A220 aircraft: a light cabin, increased distance between seats, large compartments for hand luggage.

Iveta Strupkaja, in her turn, invited to visit the largest city in the Baltic States and the capital of Latvia - Riga. The historical center of Riga (the Old Town) is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and the coastline of Latvia stretches for 500 km. People come here for excellent spa and medicine, delicious cuisine and cultural life.

After the presentations, the organizers held a raffle of 2 tickets to Riga and memorable prizes. The evening continued with pleasant communication in the buffet area.
