On the sale prohibition of tours and selected travel services to China

Vipservice Holding calls on you to comply with the recommendations of the Federal Tourism Agency related to the warning of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare about the threat to the safety of tourists in the People's Republic of China. From January 24, the sale of tourist products, as well as individual tourist services to China should be suspended until the coronavirus epidemiological situation in the country has been normalized.

We draw your particular attention to the fact that the combination of services “air ticket + hotel” is considered a tour in accordance with the Law on Tourism. The implementation of such packages in China is a violation of the law and threatens with prosecution under Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (in connection with provision of services that do not meet security requirements).

It is also mandatory for all agents to inform Russian tourists who have concluded and/or plan to conclude agreements on the sale of tourist products to the People's Republic of China about the current epidemiological situation in the country, the procedure for changing (changing directions), reschedule travel, etc.) or termination of the contract in accordance with Section 14 of Law No. 132-FZ.
