Open University Day in Vipservice

On January 30, Vipservice media center became the place for the first Open University Day in the Holding’s history in partnership with the Higher School of Management of HSE University. This event gathered together business travel industry participants, Vipservice staff and scientists in an attempt to know which occupations will rule the world in the future.

Open University Day shapes the image of the changing environment, competencies in demand for the next few decades, informs about effective personnel skills in the business of the future and self-training practices. This open educational event became available for public audience thanks to the Holding’s cooperation with the Higher School of Management of HSE University within the Corporate University program (MBA for top managers) and the company management wishing to share its knowledge and expertise.

The key spokespersons of the event were experts in management and occupations of the future, dean of the Higher School of Management Sergey Filonovich and Dmitry Kupriyanov, head of Strategic Human Resource Management program of the Higher School of Management of HSE University.

The event was started by Vipservice holding Executive Director Irina Solovieva. She greeted the guests and told them about the aims and tasks of the Open University Day. Then the word was passed on to Sergey Filonovich who shared the information on the skills of effective people and on what new experts will be soon in demand with the employers. In his speech, Dmitry Kupriyanov addressed the subject of the branches to be developing at the highest rate in the future and noted where new technologies, products and services appear.

The presented ideas caused a lively discussion of the listeners and helped everyone get valuable recommendations on personal and professional development.
