Discover Almaty with Ural Airlines!

Vipservice's and Ural Airlines' joint project "Discover Cities with URAL AIRLINES" continues. Last month we explored Irkutsk; in September we will discover Almaty! For this city, during the first autumn month, the carrier will offer exclusive tariffs to the holding's subagents*.

Almaty (which derives from the Kazakh word for apple) is the largest city and former capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and is now known as the Southern Capital. Extending at the foot of majestic mountains, Almaty offers a combination of rich history, modern architecture and breathtaking landscapes. From the point of view of tourism, the most interesting part of the city is the Medeu district, where the main points of interest are located, as well as the Medeo alpine sports complex and parks (Central Park of Culture and Leisure, Park of 28 Panfilov Guardsmen). We also recommend to visit the picturesque Asian Green Market and taste traditional Uzbek dishes, and to take the aerial tramway to the observation deck on the Kok Tobe mountain.
