Dmitry Gorin became a member of the Supervisory Board of Turpomoshch

A general meeting of the members of the Association of tour operators in the field of outbound tourism Turpomoshch was held today, 19 April. Zarina Doguzova, Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, was elected the Head of the Supervisory Board of the organisation. Dmitry Gorin, CEO of Vipservice and Advisor to the Head of the Federal Agency for Tourism, also became a member of the Board.

Along with Zarina Doguzova, the Head of Vipservice highlightened new objectives in cooperation between the Federal Agency for Tourism and Turpomoshch. The primary one is to approve for the forthcoming holiday season the interdepartmental regulations that allow not only to provide emergency assistance to tourists abroad, but also basically to prevent the emergency situations from the tour operator. The algorithm of interaction between public authorities (Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Federal Agency for Air Transport, Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, the Bank of Russia, Federal Agency for Tourism, Turpomoshch) is already created to accomplish this objective. 

Dmitry Gorin also addressed the Board with the initiative of government subsidisation of domestic flights. This measure would reduce the cost of airfares for Russians by 10-15%.
