Meet new UTair

On October 31, UTair airlines presented a modernized brand and the first 737-800 aircraft in the company's new livery. 

The presentation was held at the Vnukovo Airport; among participants were airport representatives, colleagues from the aviation industry, and journalists. 

Dmitry Gorin, CEO, Vipservice Holding, attended the presentation and congratulated colleagues from UTair: "New style, new strategy of direct sales through agents, new routes, and moderate tariffs! UTair changes liveries of its aircrafts and corporate identity but preserves the basic priorities" 

"UTair is one of the leading companies of the Russian aviation industry with fifty years of operational experience. The largest oil and gas producing companies and the United Nations trust us. Our aviators were the first in the world to fly to the North Pole by the Mi-26 helicopter and to test the Mil helicopters and IL-76 aircraft. Much has changed over 50 years. It's high time for UTair to change," commented Andrey Martirosov, CEO, Utair.  

"The new brand is an expression of the new strategy and priorities of UTair. All constituent parts of our company's service will change soon. Our key priorities are the development of the Vnukovo Airport hub (the number of daily flights from the airport increased by 15% compared to 2016), digital channels (they account for more than a third of the total sales), and travel configurator principle allowing passengers to form the content of transportation services," added Pavel Permyakov, President, Utair–Passenger Airlines.
