The HotelStar online platform has officially been granted resident status at the Innovation Science and Technology Center (INTC), a high-tech cluster bringing together advanced developments in aviation, navigation, digital infrastructure and IT solutions.
The granting of the status was the result of a comprehensive assessment of digital products for the tourism and business travel industry. The assessment included an analysis of the service architecture, the level of technological maturity, reliability, scalability and the innovation potential of the HotelStar platform.
Resident status at the INTC is of strategic importance:
– provides access to the infrastructure of one of the country’s key innovation centres, which brings together advanced developments in aerospace and related high-tech industries;
– confirms technological competence and compliance with stringent requirements for safety, engineering standards and IT product quality;
– enables access to preferential tax regimes under current legislation, including the possibility of providing services within the Russian Federation without charging VAT, thereby supporting more efficient cooperation models for partners.
The benefits of resident status will be used to accelerate the development of digital products, expand technological expertise and support domestic tourism. In 2026, HotelStar plans to expand the platform’s functionality, roll out new IT modules and strengthen its presence in the Russian market for travel-tech solutions.
Resident status at the Innovation Science and Technology Center (INTC) highlights HotelStar’s strategic focus on technological development and strengthening its position in the market for the digital distribution of hotel services.
