



A historic event in the aviation industry: Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia has launched regular flights between the capitals of Russia and Saudi Arabia. The first flight on the Riyadh – Moscow route took place on October 10, 2025.
The grand opening of the new route was held at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The ceremony was attended by high-ranking guests: Director General of Saudia Group Ibrahim Al-Omar and Russian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sergey Kozlov.
It is important to note that the Vipservice Holding has been appointed as Saudia’s general sales agent in Russia, responsible for sales, passenger support, and partnership development. The new route will become an important step in developing bilateral relations between Russia and Saudi Arabia, opening new opportunities for tourism, business travel, and cultural exchange between the two countries. Regular flights will operate three times weekly on comfortable aircraft.
