We are pleased to inform you that Aeroflot has won the key Wings of Russia (named after Evgeny Chibirev) award − Russian Airline of the Year − the Passengers' Choice. The carrier has become the absolute favourite of the Russian travellers for the second year in a row.
Wings of Russia national aviation award was established in 1997.
The winner in this category is always determined by passengers via online voting. This year passengers voted on the Wings of Russia between January 10 and April 30, 2022.
Moreover, the airline received a special prize "For contribution to the development of air transport" for its ongoing role as the standard-bearer of Russian air transportation. This nomination recognizes airlines that have made individual and long-term contributions to the development in various areas of civil aviation, as well as their role in the connectivity and accessibility of Russian regions.
